As part of the implementation of the Degraded Land Restoration Project (PRTD-Mali), a workshop to validate the studies of Avant-Projet Détaillé (APD) and the Notices of Environmental and Social Impact (NIES) was held this Friday, October 10, 2025 on the premises of the Project Management Unit. The purpose of the workshop was to validate the technical reports on the development of transhumance tracks and stage lodges in the Koulikoro and Ségou regions, in accordance with the activities foreseen in the PTBA 2025.
The session was chaired by the PRTD National Coordinator, in the presence of members of the Multisectoral Technical Committee, relevant technical services and representatives of partner projects. The aim was to analyse and amend the reports, while ensuring that the concerns of the beneficiaries were taken into account, technical aspects, and environmental and social impacts.
This activity is part of the sub-component dedicated to restoring landscapes and strengthening people's resilience to the effects of climate change.
