The opening ceremony was chaired by the Technical Adviser of the Ministry of the Environment, Sanitation and Sustainable Development (MEADD), together with the Technical Advisers of the Ministry of Energy and Water (MEE) and the Ministry of Urbanism, Habitat, Areas, Land Planning and Population (MUHDATP).

On this occasion, the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist of PRTD-Mali recalled the commitment of the project to support the sectors attached to the Department of Environment in strengthening the systems of planning, data production and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, in accordance with the first component of the project dedicated to institutional support and capacity building.

The discussion then focused on the main information contained in Statistical Yearbook 2024, with a view to their appropriation by all users for decision-making in the sector.
