As part of the mission to support and supervise the Degraded Land Restoration Project, the World Bank team and the National Coordinator of the Project visited several hills in the Malian capital of Bamako on 14 November 2024. The visit assessed the needs for redevelopment, environmental protection, and particularly in the preservation of forests to combat erosion.

Exchanges continue until 15 November in order to formulate concrete recommendations for the optimal implementation of land restoration activities in Mali.
