As part of the implementation of the Degraded Land Restoration Project (PRTD-Mali), a coordination meeting was held today, 10 February 2025, with the Governor of the Mopti Region, General of Brigade Abass DEMBÉLÉ, and all stakeholders.

The aim of this meeting was to ensure a good organisation and full coordination to launch work on:

The enlargement and enhancement of the road dam to Mopti Governorate.

Rehabilitation of ramp and dock dock.

Dredging and curing of sediments on the access road to the boat dock.

Development of the water channel at the Konna fishing port.

This work, chaired by Mrs Doumbia Mariam TANGARA, Minister of Environment, Sanitation and Sustainable Development, aims to strengthen the resilience of infrastructure and improve access to strategic areas.

Thanks to the involvement of local authorities and project partners, every effort is made to ensure that activities are carried out in a secure and well-organised environment.
