The Degraded Land Restoration Project (PRTD-Mali) actively participated in the panel organized by Madagascar and related to the activities of the Cop16 on desertification.
This panel brought together Mali, Burkina Faso and Madagascar to exchange experiences and strategies on land restoration, a crucial issue in the face of current environmental challenges.
The Panel's objectives were to share experiences in land restoration, discuss development objectives and expected results, learn from similar projects and develop regional cooperation strategies. The PRTD-Mali was represented by its expert in monitoring and evaluation, who presented the main directions of the project, its objectives, current achievements and ambitions for the future.
With its experience of more than five years, Madagascar has shared valuable lessons that inspire the approaches of Mali and Burkina Faso, thus strengthening cooperation among countries.
Such collaboration and sharing of expertise is essential to accelerate global efforts to restore land and achieve sustainable development goals.
