The meeting examined and amended the national 2023 report on the state of the environment (9th edition), as well as the economic study to estimate the direct and indirect costs of environmental degradation in Mali.

The aim is to strengthen the national environmental monitoring system and improve decision-making based on reliable data, while integrating economic and social issues related to the degradation of natural resources.

The closing ceremony was chaired by the PRTD-Mali National Coordinator and the AEDD Deputy Director.
