On the occasion of International Forest Day, Mali officially launched this Friday, March 21, 2025 the Productive Alliances dedicated to the sustainable development of FNFPs, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister, Major General Abdoulaye Maiga, Head of Government.
Organized by the Ministry of Environment with the support of the Bank The ceremony highlighted issues related to land restoration, climate resilience and the creation of green jobs.
The objective of these Productive Alliances is to promote sustainable exploitation of forest resources while creating economic opportunities for people. They aim to strengthen climate resilience, enhance local sectors and generate green jobs, especially for women and young people.
An awareness-raising sketch, committed testimonies and the signing of a symbolic convention marked this strong launch, praised by the Prime Minister.
