The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries, who, in his speech, warmly thanked the Degraded Lands Restoration Project (DTP) for its technical and financial support, which made these days a success.

In particular, it welcomed the signing of the conventions and the submission of cheques for a total of CFAF 7 billion in support of fishing lines under productive alliances.

The festive atmosphere continued with the spectacular Race of Pirogues, won by the team of commune VI, which received the first prize from the minister. All participants were also rewarded for their commitment and performance by the PRTD.
