This initiative, chaired by the Governor of the Kayes Region, is part of Mali's national reforestation campaign after the national launch at the Sofa Park, aimed at strengthening ecological resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The main objective is to restore degraded land, combat desertification, preserve biodiversity and, above all, raise awareness among local people about the protection of natural resources.
