The important point of this mission was the participation in the 2nd edition of the International Congress of Oasis and Palm Dattier (CIO-2), held on 22 and 23 May in Ouarzazate. This study trip is part of the implementation of the Degraded Land Restoration Project (DTP) in Mali, supported by the World Bank. The lessons learned from this mission will contribute to the development of action plans to integrate Moroccan best practices in the Malian context, including in the areas of NFP enhancement, Community fisheries development and the sustainable management of oasis.
A detailed report of the observations, lessons learned, and recommendations will be developed to guide future actions of the PRTD.
